Women's Peer Group: Building Key Professional Relationships
More Dates
Overview
Share your business concerns, access peer advice, and gain the support you deserve from fellow women leading the profession.
Throughout the year, women in the accounting profession across Virginia gather to learn from experts in the field and discuss issues in small groups — so you can create meaningful connections around true solidarity. These sessions are designed and led by your peers to create a coalition of women who help each other flourish in the profession. Come be a part of it!
In this session, we'll move beyond transactional networking and focus on building trusted, strategic relationships that create meaningful opportunities for connection, growth and business development. You'll learn a simple framework — curiosity, value, trust and opportunity — to identify the right professional relationships, strengthen existing connections and follow up in ways that feel authentic and useful. Through discussion and breakout planning, you'll leave with a specific relationship-building action you can take immediately.
